This is a subcutaneous injection, meaning it goes into the fat layer just beneath the skin—not into muscle.
Tip: Rotate your injection site each time to avoid irritation. If you injected on the left side of your abdomen last time, try the right side next time.
The solution in your pen will typically appear yellow. This is completely normal and indicates a high-concentration formula. The yellow color occurs because NAD+ molecules absorb most wavelengths of visible light except yellow. We do not add whitening agents to mask this natural color, as it has no impact on safety or effectiveness.
A mild sting during injection is completely normal. This usually fades within a few seconds.
Some minor dripping or a small drop of blood at the injection site is normal. You can apply gentle pressure with a clean cotton ball if needed.
Do not share your pen with others. Each pen is for single-patient use only. Always use a new sterile needle for each injection.
Simply take your next dose when you remember, then continue with your regular schedule (every 3 days). Do not double up to compensate for a missed dose.
Use a cold-pack travel case to maintain proper temperature. When flying, keep your pen in your carry-on bag—checked luggage compartments can freeze.

After each injection, place the used needle in a hard plastic container with a secure lid—such as a laundry detergent bottle or similar household container. When full, tape the lid shut and check with your local pharmacy or waste department for disposal options.
Never throw loose needles in regular household trash.
